Following their split last year, the rapper appears hopeful about a future reconciliation and admits he would even like to marry the radio DJ and have children.
"Maya is a G, before me ... she's the star girl. She's a phenomenal star," the 26 year-old said.
Asked about a possible reunion, Stormzy admitted he was left heartbroken by the break-up and would love to get things back on track with Maya.
He told presenter Charlamagne Tha God's YouTube channel: "I would love for that to happen, but I don't know ... I would love to be the man who she ... I would love to do all the things that make it work.
"I want to marry her, I want to have her children. All of that."
The pair's split came as a shock last year however rumours of a possible reunion have surrounded them ever since.
