LGBT Community Highlights Benefits Of Dating Apps

A new survey from the dating app Tinder has found that 80% of LGBT+ people believe dating apps have benefited their community.

Over 1,000 people in the UK submitted their opinion for the report, with over 80% of those reporting a positive experience with the online dating site. 46% said it offered a more diverse range of potential matches, with 36% saying they had the opportunity to date more people of other races and cultures.

In addition, the Tinder survey indicated that the place of LGBT people within society has progressed in recent years, with 82% of adults believing there is less of a stigma attached to their identity than there was five years ago.
