The pair have been dating for seven years, and the wedding comes one year after Darren proposed. He announced their engagement on social media last year, posting a cute photo of them together to his 2.5 million followers.
He wrote: "Mia and I have had seven and a half years of fun, wacky, wonderful, CRAZY adventures together. And I'm happy to announce that we're kicking those adventures up a notch. We're goin for it. To boldly go where neither of us have gone before. Engage."
Among the guests at the ceremony were Criss' fellow Glee co-stars Lea Michele, Chord Overstreet and John Stamos.
The ceremony took place in New Orleans and they were photographed leaving the Ace Hotel in a classic red Rolls Royce.
The actor and singer-songwriter, who rose to fame while starring in the hit TV show 'Glee' has recently been the recipient of several prestigious awards. He won his first Emmy for his performance in 'The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story' as well as a Golden Globe and SAG award. He gave Mia a special mention at his Emmy acceptance speech: "My darling Mia, you roll the windows down and pump the music up in my life."
