Over one in ten men (11%) also admitted that they had been violent towards their same-sex partner, while more than a third said they had resorted to verbal abuse in order to "win arguments" with their partner.

The Chappy report surveyed 518 men across the UK to examine a number of issues facing gay and bisexual men in British society.
