The actress, who plays Kimmy in US sitcom 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt', is understood to have confirmed the news during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
According to UsWeekly, the 35-year-old kept her baby news a secret on set as she filmed the second series, and only told the show's producer Tina Fey.
It will be the first child for Kemper and her husband Michael Koman. The couple married in 2012.
