The Little Mix singer confirmed the news during an interview with The Sun after her bandmate, Jesy Nelson, first spilt the beans.
Talking to the newspaper, 24-year-old Nelson said: "She's [Jade] got someone on the go. His name starts with a J... then a D."
Thirlwall, 22, then added: "He's very hot. It's early days."
The band took to the stage to perform at the Jingle Bell Ball in London on Saturday night, where Derulo was also performing – and where the girls introduced him on stage.
Nelson added of the singer: "He's so lovely. Really sweet. He gave Jade a little wink when we introduced him on stage. There's four of us but he looked to Jade and gave her a wink."
