Last year, it was reported the singer and his wife Jessica Biel were expecting their first child together, and after weeks of speculation, the couple have now confirmed the news.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday – his 34th birthday – Timberlake shared the pair's news by posting an image of him kissing his wife's baby bump. Alongside the photo, he wrote: "Thank you EVERYONE for the Bday wishes! This year, I'm getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER. CAN'T WAIT. #BoyOrGirl #YouNeverKnow #WeDontEvenKnow #WeAreTakingBets (sic)".
Just before Christmas, Timberlake's former 'N Sync bandmate Joey Fatone was quoted as saying the couple were to become parents. In an interview with In Touch magazine, he said: "He [Justin] told me a while ago and I kept my mouth shut. But now I can talk about it." However, this is the first time the couple themselves have commented on the baby rumours.
Biel, 32, and Timberlake started dating in 2007. They separated in April 2011 only to reconcile in June. They announced their engagement in December of that year, and in October 2012, the couple married at the Borgo Egnazia resort in Fasano, Italy.
