The couple were spotted together on an alleged date to a pumpkin patch earlier this month, and now it is claimed the couple actually met through one of the singer's ex-girlfriends, Kimberly Stewart.
According to Grazia magazine, a source is quoted as saying: "Erin and Harry met through Kimberly Stewart over a year ago and stayed in touch. Erin's dad David is a top music producer and a good friend of Kimberly's dad Rod.
"He first met Erin at Penny Lancaster's birthday last year and they've been hanging out in LA. After visiting the pumpkin patch, they went for dinner. It's nothing serious, but they're both having fun."
Styles, 20, has previously been linked to a number of women, including Caroline Flack, Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner.
Neither the singer nor Foster, 32, have commented on the reports.
