Russell Brand has seemingly confirmed he is dating his long-time friend Jemima Khan.
The pair were spotted walking arm-in-arm in New York's East Village, just a week after they were seen having dinner together in London.
The sighting also comes days after the British comedian admitted that he was "in love".
Writing in The Guardian last week, the 38-year-old admitted: "I'm not typically immune to the allure of objectified women, but I am presently beleaguered by a nerdish, whirling dervish, and am eschewing all others.
"Perhaps the clarity of this elation has awakened me. A friend of mine said: "Being in love is like discovering a concealed ballroom in a house you've long inhabited."
Brand was previously married to singer Katy Perry, but he filed for divorce after 14 months, citing "irreconcilable differences".
Khan, 39, was previously married to cricketer Imran Khan. The couple married in a traditional Islamic ceremony in May 1995, with a civil ceremony held the following month. In June 2004, it was announced that the Khans had divorced, putting an end to their nine-year marriage.
