Jack Osbourne's wife has suffered a miscarriage.
The 27-year-old and his wife, Lisa Stelly, confirmed the devastating news in a blog post.
Writing on her Raddest Mom blog, Ms Stelly said: "I have been dreading this announcement…. I needed some time before being able to say it.
"Jack and I lost our baby boy last week. Having a late term miscarriage is by far the hardest thing either of us have ever had to go through. We appreciate all of your prayers and ask for privacy and respect during this time.
"It's important to stay hopeful and optimistic through life's toughest moments. We never know why things like this happen. All we can do is trust in God and know he has a plan for our lives. Jack & Lisa."
It is understood Lisa was in her second trimester.
The couple first announced they were expecting their second child in August, when they revealed they were "super excited" to be expanding their family.
Osbourne and Stelly tied the knot in Hawaii last October, and have a 17-month old daughter, Pearl, together. The television presenter has previously credited his partner and daughter for helping him to grow up and move on from his wild partying days.
He said: "Getting married and having a child definitely has focused me.
"Now I'm not so much worried about going out on a Tuesday night and staying up until three in the morning and meeting hot chicks. No."
