JLS member Marvin Humes has opened up about being a father, almost two weeks after the birth of his first child.
The singer welcomed a baby daughter with his wife, The Saturday's singer Rochelle Humes, on 20 May, naming her Alaia-Mai Humes.
Following the couple's new arrival, Marvin was then names on the 'Celebrity Dad of the Year' shortlist earlier this week, an accolade he referred to as "crazy".
In an interview with Capital FM's Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon, the 28-year-old added: "I heard that yesterday, it's kind of crazy I'm in the shortlist for it, which is madness, considering she's only ten days old.
"It's just be non-stop. Nappies, bottle feeding, you know sterilising and all of that crazy stuff that's made me, I don't know, on the shortlist. It's mad."
Humes, who will be turning his attention to DJing once JLS split later this year, described juggling a career with his new-found fatherhood.
"It's amazing, you know. It's kind of hard at the minute to pull myself away from her," he admitted.
"It's just amazing, it's so lovely. She's incredible, we're so happy. As soon as she arrived, it's crazy how you can fall in love with someone like that. It's incredible, she's beautiful."
The Celebrity Dad of the Year shortlist was released on Tuesday, with David Beckham, Wayne Rooney, Peter Andre and last year's winner Gary Barlow all making the final shortlist of 20.
