His wife, Chloe Gill, gave birth to their son on Friday (19 September), but the couple have only announced the news.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, JB told his followers: "A little nose, lots of hair and looking like his mummy, our baby boy was born 19/09/14 weighing 6lbs 15oz. #supermummy #prouddaddy (sic)".
The couple have not released any photos of their son, or the little boy's name.
JB and Chloe dated for six years before they tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in Scotland in May this year. Just weeks later, they revealed they were expecting their first child.
The singer is the third member of the former boyband to become a father. Last month, Oritsé Williams became a dad for the first time. He and his girlfriend AJ Azari welcomed their son, Omré; while Marvin Humes and his wife Rochelle are parents to one-year-old daughter, Alaia-Mai.
