The 29-year-old singer made the confession during an interview with Australia's Today programme.
Referring to her partner, she said: "I still don't feel worthy of my husband. He's an amazing person. I am very lucky to even have contact with someone like that never mind be married to them and have children."
Allen and Cooper, who is a painter and decorator, started dating in 2009 and announced their engagement in December 2010. The couple married in June 2011 and their first child, Ethel, was born that November. In January 2013, the couple welcomed a second daughter named Marnie.
Following the birth of her first child, Allen decided to take time away from her music career to concentrate on raising a family, but last year, she made a comeback to the music industry. Explaining her reasons for doing so, she explained: "I had no intention of coming back when I did take the time out. I just thought I'm going to be such a great mum. I'm going to be puréeing vegetables all of the time and being really patient and building Lego.
"As much as I love spending time with my children I haven't got the concentration span for that kind of thing."
