Woman Rescued From River Liffey

A woman is in a serious condition in hospital after she was rescued by emergency services from the River Liffey in Dublin.

She is understood to have entered the water at O'Connell Bridge and rescued at around 8.45pm last night.

A passerby also entered the water to rescue her, however they were not injured.

It is believed the woman was in the water for around five minutes.
